Landlord Fees Explained

As of May 2015 we are required by law to display the Fees which are payable by landlords:

The purpose of the changes in the law is to ensure that no landlord is subject to “hidden” or “unexpected” fees, which we support without question. Furthermore, that fees are transparent and that the fee quoted for the service is the actual fee which is paid.

We are a commercial business, offering a range of fees which directly relate to the client and the property concerned, however to ensure that we comply with the law find below our MAXIMUM FEES, with our guarantee that fees payable by landlords will not exceed the amounts shown.

Tenant Find Service: MAXIMUM of the First Months Rent Plus Vat

Property Management Service: An initial MAXIMUM Fee equal to the Tenant Find Service, with a MAXIMUM of 15% of the Monthly Collected Rent + Vat, payable during the tenancy period.

We are registered members of The Deposit Protection Service (DPS)

We are registered members of The Property Ombudsman, which provides our client redress scheme

As a Landlord would expect, we also offer a range of services above and beyond the standard two service choices, such as Inventory Provision, Energy Performance Certificates, Gas Safe CP12 Annual Checks & Lease Re-newal, however these are optional services and do not apply/or would not be required by all Landlord clients.  Our policy is to discuss any additional optional services with each Landlord as and when we feel they are required, at which stage all associated costs/fees are provided and formal instruction is obtained, before we proceed with any such optional service provision.

Tenant Fee: There are NO fees payable by tenants.
